Saints Baseball Coaches
Michael Feldman
Michael Feldman is entering his 12th season as head coach of the Saints baseball team. He began his coaching career as an assistant at the University of Mary from 2008–2012 after playing collegiate baseball there from 2004–2008. A graduate of St. Mary’s Central High School, Feldman was a three-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and baseball for the Saints. He earned his Bachelor of Science in 2008 and his Master of Business Administration in 2011, both from the University of Mary. Outside of coaching, he works for Duncan Co., based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Michael and his wife, Jenna, have three children: Makenna (7), Makallan (4), and Madden (1).

Cody Erhardt
Varsity Assistant Coach
Cody Erhardt has been a part of the St. Mary’s Central High School baseball program since 2013 and is entering his 12th season as an assistant varsity coach. He has served in a varsity role since 2014 and has been a steady presence in the program for more than a decade.A graduate of St. Mary’s Central High School, Erhardt played baseball for the Saints before continuing his career at Bismarck State College.
Outside of baseball, he has worked as a Lead Engineer at Bobcat since 2013.
Cody and his wife, Ali, live in Bismarck with their three children: Audrey (6), Emery (4), and Laney (1).
Dalon Grimm is entering his 6th year on the Saints baseball coaching staff. He began his coaching career as the Babe Ruth coach in Hazen, where he coached from 1994 to 2000. He later served as the head coach for football and baseball and as an assistant basketball coach at Center-Stanton from 2003 to 2005. Grimm then spent 15 years at Century High School, working as an assistant coach for both football and baseball from 2006 to 2020. Outside of coaching, he works for Bismarck Public Schools as a Technology and Engineering teacher at Bismarck Career Academy.
Dalon and his wife, Lynn, have five children: Grace (20), Jacoby (18), Bennett (16), Kolton (14), and Kane (12).

Tom Kubisiak
Tom Kubisiak enters his 9th season on the Saint Mary’s baseball coaching staff after playing for the Saints from 2014–2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mary in 2021 and currently works as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck.
Hunter Hager
Hunter Hager is entering his 6th year as an assistant coach for the Saints baseball program. He began his coaching career in fall 2020, working with the St. Mary’s middle school football and baseball programs. Since the addition of middle school baseball in 2021, the program has grown steadily, increasing participation and strengthening player development.
Hager earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Jamestown in 2020 and completed his Master of Education Administration from the University of Mary in 2025. Outside of coaching, he works at Wachter Middle School and previously served as an educator in the Light of Christ school system.
Hunter and his wife, Lauren, have lived in the Bismarck area since their college years.
Junior High Coach
Jackson Uhler
Jackson Uhler is entering his 5th season as an assistant coach for the Saints baseball team. He began his coaching career in the spring of 2022 after a five-year playing career with the Saints. Uhler earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mary in 2025 and married his wife, Kylie, in June of that year. Outside of coaching, he works for Railway Credit Union in Bismarck.
Assistant Coach
Jordan Porter
Jordan Porter, a 2021 graduate of St. Mary’s Central High School, joined the Saints coaching staff in 2022 after spending five years as a player in the program from junior high through high school. After graduating, he earned his Associate of Arts and Sciences from Bismarck State College, then continued his education at Dickinson State University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Business Management. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Dickinson State University.
In 2023, Jordan earned his NREMT certification and has since served as an EMT with Metro Area Ambulance. In his role, he helps manage medical supplies, oversees equipment and vehicle maintenance, and plays a key part in keeping operations running smoothly—especially during challenging winter emergencies.
Assistant Coach
Alex Schaefbauer
Alex Schaefbauer has been a teacher and coach at St. Mary’s Academy for the past two years. He began coaching baseball in 2023 with Babe Ruth Baseball. Alex graduated from SMCHS in 2019, where he played both baseball and football, and earned his degree in History Education from the University of Mary in 2024. He has also served in the North Dakota Army National Guard for the past seven years.
Alex and his wife, Hailey, have one daughter, Cosette (1).
